the brief:

Agrimontana was founded in 1972, inspired by Cesare Bardini, with the goal of becoming the ultimate reference in quality and innovation for fruit-based products, nuts, chocolate, semi-finished goods, ingredients, and related services. For fifty years, the company has worked and produced in close collaboration with the finest pastry chefs, believing that respecting the raw materials is the most appropriate and effective way to offer high-quality products, rich in flavor, and preserving all their nutritional properties intact. Building on this decades-long experience, the Bardini family’s vision, and the refined palate of Chiara Bardini, the new “agrimontanaBIO” line was born: jams, marrons glacés, steamed chestnuts, candied peels, and many other products to come in the future. The new range of jams is designed as a pure taste experience, made exclusively from: • First-choice organic fruit, harvested at the perfect point of ripeness. • Low-temperature cooking. • The presence of organic mountain apples with skins, to provide more fiber and enhance the perception of fresh fruit characteristics. • Physical transformation processes rather than chemical ones. • A controlled two-phase processing: • Gentle mixing of ingredients. • Concentration at low temperatures. Even the chestnuts, all sourced from Italy, are harvested in areas where the best practices for organic farming have always been applied. The processing is carefully managed step-by-step until they are packed in a protective atmosphere designed by Agrimontana, preserving the freshness and aroma of freshly baked marrons glacés. The same care and attention go into the candied peels, which are meticulously hand-selected and prepared with care and expertise.

strategy:

The new AgrimontanaBIO line is presented to the public with a modern look that reflects the environment it is immersed in and from which it draws inspiration. The bright, vivid grass green color not only evokes nature but also ensures strong shelf visibility, allowing the photos of the various fruits and products to stand out attractively. The stylized graphic profile of the mountains represents the proximity to the peaks that protect and nurture the lower Piedmont region, within the Gesso and Stura Natural Park in the province of Cuneo. The hierarchical structure of the layout was carefully defined to convey the different messages in a specific order: 1) the presence of nature in relation to the mountains; 2) the brand and type of product/variant; 3) reasons why and the specific qualities of the variants, particularly the “pure taste experience” for the jams. Every space has been meticulously curated, finding a way, within the few available centimeters, to recreate the effect of a custom-designed postage stamp that recalls the original landscape. The printing process was also particularly refined, using hot foil stamping for the logo and a Pantone color for the background to ensure consistent color over time. From a branding and packaging design perspective, the new line is vibrant and highly visible on the shelf, with a unique language and style that allows it to stand out with personality in a highly competitive sector.
